Amelia Coffee Co. - A hole-in-the-wall place with great coffee on the go

Bread and Butter - Guaranteed to fix your Parisian pastries cravings.

- For Brunch:

Sweet Brew - Hands down the best cafe for brunch in Launceston, from a ex-Melburnian, I think that says it all

Inside Cafe - Second best in town, actually the only other cafe a brunch snob would go to (dont ask me how I know)

- For Fresh Seasonal Local Produce with Flair:

Timbre Kitchen: set in Velo winery, it is only 3 mins drive up the road from us, featuring constantly evolving set menu and wine list with fresh seasonal produce from local community and backyard growers, we love their concept and approach, most importnatly, we love the food! (Open Fri & Sat 11:00 - late & Thur -Sun 11am-4:00 pm.)

Pachinko - The Japanese/Asian "cousin" of Timbre Kitchen, an intimate 20-seat restaurant with incredible natural wine list in the city (easily get lost when using GPS to locate it, also dont ask me how I know )

- For Fine-dining:

Stillwater - Situated at the entrance to the iconic Cataract Gorge. It is waterside fine-dining at its best, you can blindly order any dish from their menu to find satisfaction without fail, having said that, we found breakfast there is not upto the same standard.

Black Cow - Stillwater's "little sister", famous for its steak, but fish is pretty good too, impressive wine list! Service can be a bit of hit and miss (but maybe that's us being fussy)

- For Asian Fusion and Spices

Mudbar & Restaurant - Modern Australian fare with asian twist, a much-loved water front restaurant

Spice Lounge - Easily one of the best indian restaurant in Tasmania, if not in Australian, front row seatings boasts panoramic marina views, good value and very satisfying authentic indian food (they can make it really hot and spicy if that is how you like it)

- For Local Hearty Pub Food:

Legana tavern bar & bistro & Riverside Hotel - They are within 5 mins drive in either direction from our place, con is they are pub food.
